I used to be obese but lost over 50lb through simply cutting down, changing the times I eat and getting off my fat arse and exercising. It was a slow process but with determination and willpower I lost it and kept it off. I can eat pretty much anything now in moderation.
Fat girls who say they are happy with their weight must enjoy the staring and taunts they get when out on the street or are happy with the health problems, severe sweating and back pain. I can't say I did which is why I bothered to do something about it.

im not disrespecting you but. i no matter how healthy you eat. if your overweight your still unhealthy any large amount of weight is not only bad for your back its bad for your joints its bad for your limbs and its bad for your heart. and overweight people are more likely to be diabetic aswell as have sleep aptnia and narcalepsi.
and just to let you know. i am overweight im 5 foot 8 and i weigh a little over 300 lbs. and eating less does not make you lose weight infact you are more likely to lose more weight if you eat more meals aday but less in each meal for instance if you eat every three hours but smaller portions and do lots of cardio and strength training you will lose weight. the problem is that in america our minds are set on in effective exersize progroms if you went to asia for instance and in oriantal exersizes you would lose alot more weight

RedSaidPaisley, pardon me for my mistake. It should be respect. But perhaps you should take your own advice because last time I checked veryunhealthy was not one word. And how in the hell do you get that I don't know what actual hatred and judgment means? You are not only coming down on someone for being fat and obese but you are doing it because you don't like fat people. Don't hide behind the health thing. There is something called tact and you don't have it. If it is truly about your concern for her health then you wouldn't be so insulting and demeaning. I understand being obese is not healthy just the same as you.
But you come across so hateful. How do you think it makes you look? Don't get all pissed off when you're called out for your hatred.

I've never said that it is easy to lose weight and get in shape. It isn't. Even as someone who is very thin, I stress over maintaining that and eating healthy and exercising sucks. It's hard work. I don't expect someone to just get into shape overnight. I respect the effort, though. If you sit around and complain about your weight but have never actually set foot on a treadmill, I have a right to lose respect for you. More power to you for having a healthy diet and work out routine. If you have a heavy build than I am sure people can see that you are not a lazy slob, but are in fact just built differently. I know that I can tell the difference, so I hope a lot of other people can too.
I have never had any doubt that overweight people can be good people. One of my best friends is short and fat and she is one of the sweetest people I know. I just wish that she would get herself into shape (she doesn't make any effort) so that that her beauty could shine a little bit more.
I lose a little bit of respect for the people that know they are overweight and don't try to do anything about it. They just pass it off as "curvy" and make it okay by saying they are happy in their skin. That is my problem with Nikki. You can tell she doesn't try. If anything, she tries to gain weight because she gets roles for that specifically.
Again, good for you for being proactive and being active and eating healthy.

I dont respect people who are happy about putting themselves at risk for health problems. I dont respect the fat women think they deserve the same level of man that there smaller in shape and attractive friend would pull..I dont respect the fatty that end up eating up our health care system,which is 93 billion(and that just in 07 for fuks sake)

I think you might be sometimes interpreting things that are intended to be ridiculous and absurd (which I find funny) as though they are intended to be taken seriously. It's difficult at times to detect if someone is genuinely sincere when written text is all you have to go by, and I make the mistake of failing to specify when I

5'4'' 250! Holy crap you are one doughnut eating fatass. You are not built differently you moron. At the gym I see disgusting pigs like yourself who spend more time talking than working out. Often times they don't break a sweat. They just go there so they can say "I went to the gym today" over their McDonald's lunch.

I lost 40 pounds by quitting smoking and training for a marathon. That was two years ago and I've kept it off. I'm 5'11'', 170lbs because I don't eat french fries or fast food, I workout 5 days a week and when I'm at the gym I sweat because I hit the weights and the cardio room hard.

You should be ashamed of yourself trying to tell people that being obese is ok. It is not. It is a health risk. It is an awful way to live a life. Just thinking of fat people trying to squeeze into seats at the movie theater or on an airplane is awful with their fat protruding over the armrests. Those are called armrests because they are for your arms! They aren't there to contain your lack of will power (aka your giant gut) that has turned into an insult to all of those in starving nations!

Why is it we can seem to stop talking about this and no I was not insinuating that all thin people have the personality of grass. I don't have the personality of grass and I only weigh 125 so what? The point I was making was that we are all human and we all have feelings and needs. So who cares if one person has more body fat than another? Because if that person is happy why bother them?
