This us great news for Caity fans. Not sure what the writers might intend, hopefully they'll take advantage of being in a comic world and not go for a cop-out or something otherwise stupid.
And yeah, the Sara character has much better chemistry with Oliver than Laurel.

Wasn't a huge fan of Sara, or that thing Caity does with her mouth. I prefer Laurel, but I felt Sara should've stuck around

Because the writers are disconnected from reality. Though I like Felicity for the most part. Sara is definitely more my style (I'm a martial artist so, we could have some flexible times together
)

She is definitely getting more interesting. Not so boring anymore. We are In the middle of season 3 (episode 6). I actually like her now

At least this boring girl is about to get more interesting when she starts kicking ass, I think Laurel can still redeem herself and be a good character, she's just taken a while to develop.

Laurel is boring. Why do the guys on these shows always love the boring girls?

I 1000% agree. They pigeon holed themselves by tying the series around KC and she's brutal. Sara and Ollie had tons of chemistry on-screen and you bought into her as that character. Laurel has consistently been the worst part of the series since the very beginning of season 2. I get that the story is following the comic blue print but you almost have to got the Kurt Sutter route and just go with what is working. Damn shame.
"Madness is like gravity"

Laurel was from Earth-2 as well and a member of the Justce Society, then America, but they changed that. They already changed everything from the comics anyway, there was no reason not to do that as well.
And agree with what others said, Sara and Ollie had much greater chemistry together. My original assumption in writing her out last season was they didn't want Ollie to have a stable relationship (had it been too stable, they would have killed her off). But then they go and do it anyway. Really irks me.
And okay, I admit I'm partial to blondes that are my height! Satisfied?! ^_^
