It's funny how I JUST discovered The Burg (theburg.tv if you don't know about it) and have been watching it and thinking Spring is just the greatest character. And then I tune in to watch the Gossip Girl season premiere and there she is again! This girl is amazing.
I don't think she's gonna be Vanessa. She had a very small part in the pilot, in fact I only had time to recognize her before she was off screen again. I don't think there will be a Vanessa character, since they didn't mention her at all in the first episode, which pretty much mirrors the first book. They also made Serena's brother both younger and suicidal, and there's some kind of connection between Serena's mom and Dan's dad that I don't remember from the books. It makes sense, them tightening up the story and cutting some characters, makes for a better show, but to the fans of the books it's like "Wait a minute what?"
