This actress is so amazing. To me, to be able to play that level of crazy is pure genius. They really didn't give her alloy to go with but she executes it PERFECTLY!

Yep, she's one of the best things about the show. When the character first showed up she just seemed like a wacko antagonist, but a few shows in she started revealing a lot of depth. And by the end of the first season, she's actually kinda lovable which isn't an easy thing to accomplish in a character who pees on the floor. She's managed to add an amazing amount of nuance to a character that easily could have just been an overplayed cartoon. I'm impressed.

Crazy Eyes is one of my favorite characters on the show largely because of her performance. Uzo is a great actress, especially because of how expressive she is with her eyes and facial expressions.

Absolutely captivating!!!!! As Crazy Eyes, you portray this unprecedented type of character that initially comes off as very scary &undesirable!!! However, as the episodes go on, allowing the character to develop, somehow I've found that I'm falling in love w Crazy Eyes and rooting for her to do well!!! Amazing that she can't really be defined as a bad guy after all!!! Her heart, though unspecified through her lines in the show, completely shines through just enough?!?! Uzo Aduba's performance COMPLETELY blew me away. Every time she is on screen, the intensity shoots through the roof. Her character starts off as some sort of terrifying comic stereotype, with the cyborg haircut and psychotic antics but by the end your heart is breaking along with hers. It takes a really incredible actress to pull that off.
I hope she appears in more roles maybe Desdemona or Ophelia or Clara Huxtable?

I was so excited to see her in Orange is the New Black! She's an extraordinary actress, a charming human being, and hopefully she'll have a chance to use her incredible singing voice at some point in the series.

She is so amazing. After the 1st episode, all I could talk about was Crazy Eyes. She really built a dynamic character.

As others have stated, her range is unbelievable. From convict psychoto someone that you end up caring about, to Shakespeare, and then to her surprising relationship with her parents.
A standout amongst an incredible cast. I can't wait to see what she does next.
