During a Q&A session at one of his touring MOVE performances last summer, he revealed that Harvey Weinstein wants to star him in the upcoming Broadway version of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN. But this has yet to be confirmed or announced. He's the only person I can think of who could replaceand surpassGene Kelly in that role. Hopefully, he'll quit "Dancing with the Stars" and show off his incredible singing/dancing/acting talents on Broadway, where he belongs! While his sister Julianne's career has taken off, Derek's career seems to have stalled. Go figure.
