Friday evening I got some ice cream, and went to sit on a bench in the local square. When I arrived I discovered that the grassy area in the middle of the square where the benches are had been cordoned off with orange cones * and police tape. I stepped over the tape, sat down, and ate my ice cream.
This irritated me. So when I finished my ice cream I tore down every bit of police tape. This minor bit of civil disobedience was my own personal tea party.
Today I returned to the
"scene of the crime"
and discovered that the cones and police tape had disappeared.
