Agree, with 3 caveats.

1. She can't deliver a line with any believability and is a stick figure actress with no motivational skill. Yes her role is a whiney teen, but she can't make it her own.
2. A half-decent show that has a weak script and can't seem to fob68cus on where it wants to go.
3. A lousy director who can't take a bad script and bad actress and make them work better.
   I liked the first episode of this series but have become dissapointed with it each succeeding week. Was suprised to see it get picked-up for a full season

I'm not watching the show just because of her TERRIBLE acting. It just makes me sick.

Why does having an opinion make them pathetic? Critics make there living judging TV shows and actors as well. No reason why people who chose to tune in to watch can't have an opinion either. Nobody is claiming to know her or is mocking her as a person or making it personal. Her acting is not good. That's all. I'm sure she is a fine person but her acting is just not anywhere near where it should be especially to have been originally cast as the lead - thank god they lowered her part a lot. I also don't think she's all to blame. I think the lines she is given are horrible and her character has been unlikable the whole time. Nothing personal. why do people go nuts when someone doesn't like something and shares that opinion?? It's an opinion that EVERYONE can have. She was so annoying the first half a friend and I complained about it the whole time. You think the shows care? As long as you're watching and talking about it. You are the one who needs to grow up.

I think she is trying way too hard, and thus overacting. There's nothing genuine about the acting. I don't BELIEVE her, and that's what makes it bad. She delivers Charlies lines and facial expressions like she's on stage and needs to make sure that the audience way back in the theater doesn't miss her emotions on stage. On film and TV you have to BE the person, not "this is me acting".

Not all of us have enough time coming out of our ears to watch a show that isn't good right from the start.
Well, you certainly have the right to prioritize, and you should, but one thing we all have is the same 24 hour day, nobody is blessed with more hours and others cursed with less hours, and since the invention of things like DVRs or Internet-TV, lack of time is no longer a factor because we are all able to watch a show whenever we please

I totally agree. She's one of the worst lead actress I've ever seen. Always the same exaggerated facial expression - raised eyebrow with all the wrinkles, and some sort of smirking or sobbing which I can't really tell.

Revolution is one of the best new shows on tv and that is why NBC has continued it for a full season. I think the cast and storyline are excellent. Tracy Spiridakos has done an outstanding job of developing Charlie into one of the best new characters on tv. It seems that a lot of people are just trying to spew their hate and negativity on a really good show instead of just appreciating the ride.

This girl is one of the reasons this show was a big disappointment for me. It could have been so much better, but it is dumbed down to a point I can hardly stand. She has to have a "why me" moment or "oh my garsh that's bad don't do it!". And she makes over the top expressions. You just want to slap her face sometimes, lol.
It's bad writing, and a bad actress combined. Worse than Kristen Stewart, and that's saying something.
As far as Revolution goes, I'm only watching this because I'm invested and there's hardly any good new shows this season. Last resort is probably the best one, and it's going to get cancelled.

I think she's doing what she can with weak material. Her character is not the best to work with to begin with. She is very attractive but you can find literally 1,000 girls that look like her at any casting call. Someone picked her. Now it's up to her to make the most of her opportunity. It's a tall order.
It's really too soon to say whether she's good or not. It's important to remember that TV is produced on an assembly line and there's just not time for multiple takes and lots of directing.
I'm watching "Revolution" as I write this and the others on here are right. She does resemble Heather Graham especially when her hair is down.
As for "Revolution", it's just not a very good show. I really don't like the writing. It's written on at best a 12-grade reading level. Overall it's another version of "Jericho" just without the same original cause.
They're pulling it from the lineup until "The Voice" comes back. NBC says they want "The Voice" in front of it. I suspect that's NBC giving them time to "retool" the show because they see good enough numbers that they don't want to can it. That and there's also the little issue of nothing good enough to be a news lead-in in its place.
