Does anyone else think Hermione and Lavender are looking too similar in the pics seen from HBP? I mean their faces look different, but their hair is so much alike! Both light brown bordering on blonde (too blonde for Hermione) and they both seem to have it curled in almost exactly the same way. Lavender and Hermione are very different characters, so it would make sense to show that in their looks. They should've at least given Lavender straight hair. And in the new HBP trailer, when we see Lavender kiss Ron, we don't see her face and so those who don't know the story could easily just think it's Hermione kissing him.

I actually think they look nothing alike, aside from the slightly similarity in hair texture and color. Facially, they don't look anything alike, and while I think Emma Watson is gorgeous, I feel Jessie Cave is also very striking.

I don't think they look ANYTHING alike. Hermione's hair is blah. However, Lavender's hair is the coolest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. I couldn't stop looking at it!

I think it's good they're similar, it fits Ron's personal tastes, he didn't have Hermione so he picked the next best thing.

I agree. My friend thinks the both of them look like sisters. I personally think Lavender would have been great with poker straight hair and a slightly 'chavvy' look.
