Why are people saying she is suppose to be black? There is nothing wrong with that at all but Lavender's physical traits have NEVER been explained in the books so I don't know why people are complaining.

she is perfect. I just listened to HPatHBP on audiobook (I commute) and after seeing her picture, I am convinced that she is the perfect choice. No matter how jealous I may get watching her snog Ron.

no its not in the books you idiot. you just think it is because in the other movies there was a black girl playing a lavander character but it wasnt "the" lavander, she was just an extra. in the book Harry mentions that he has trouble telling their hands apart, so obviously she is white, and pale or this wouldnt be a problem. think before you speak
