In NCIS L.A. she does not look more that 20, she is very cute and she acts greatly.

If people think she's younger, they'll likely cast her in younger roles - Longevity assured. Also, it makes up for inexperience. I've only seen her in 'Detachment' and assumed she was barely 20.
