I loved Fargo. But, one of the things that made it work so well (yes, in addition to the great writing) was the ensemble as a whole.
I remember reading an article about how the 10 episode series gave everyone time to breathe and allow for the characters to not have to rush every reaction, etc.
Allison did so much, not just with her dialog, but her whole body language and patient acceptance of how she was going to have to work around "the guys".
She was great, and the whole series was one of my favorite tv experiences.

It kind of reminds me of how when Mercy debuted starring Taylor Schilling in the lead, people just joked on her board that she must have been on the casting couch to get a lead so early in her career. Probably after paying Billy Bob Thorton, Martin Freeman, and Oliver Platt they had get someone who could do the job of playing the straight character, for less and keep the budget down, while also doing the job, and she's far than succeeded anyone's projections.

She's been so good in her role, I assumed she was one of those veteran actors who has been in dozens of movies and shows. She'll be taking off from this point on for sure.
Also, she looks like she is actually Keith Carradine's daughter. Everytime I see her, she reminds me of Lundy from Dexter. Maybe it's the same idiosyncrasies that each character possessesI don't know. Regardless, it's brilliant casting.

Absolutely agreed!! :)<3
I was so tired of reading all of this 'Molly'-bashing on the 'Fargo' threads until I realized that these people are only upset that your character is very much onto the scheme. From the few of us that understand how well you play your character:
Great job girl
