I can imagine 5 years from now the release spectacle for the movie:
Rolfe walks into an empty room, shouts "The movie is beep finished now!" and throws the only copy against a wall smashing it into pieces. And then he goes into a corner to cry because people stopped caring 4 years ago.

One thing that is nice about the AVGN videos is he is clearly old enough to have played the games as a child so there's some legitimacy to them, but if you're saying that 15 year old kids now are making similar reviews of old games then that would be annoying.

I'm sick and tired of "retro gaming". I still like the old games and will play them occasionally/all the time but I'm done with the cult that has been formed and all the kids who think they are so special when they hate on games that were made 20 years before they were born. I'm moving forward and I think many other people will do so too.

I know making the movie is pretty hectic, and there is a lot of post production stuff going on, and he has a kid on the way, and relationships take up a lot of time BUT I wish he could put out at least one AVGN episode a month. I know it's a lot of work, but he doesn't have to go all out for every episode.
I think he needs to go back to basics. I just haven't found the last 6 or 7 episodes to be funny or entertaining. I used to actually believe most of the anger and frustration years ago, but it's way to forced these day, like spitting and talking through his teeth.
Just my constructive criticism, really hope b68he can pull it together soon, because I miss the old days.

"Some" time off? It's been nearly EIGHT MONTHS since he took a break.

Shooting a movie and editing it does take a lot of time and I wouldn't be angry at him if he was just taking some time off. I think that AVGN is simply on 'hiatus'
