Margot is one of those people who are blessed with extreme good looks. But for me, this blessing can be a curse. For people like Margot, life is effortless. She breezes through life getting everything she wants. This halts character development in real life and causes beautiful people to create shallow, depthless on screen characters. The character developed by being ugly, poor, or otherwise aflicted, is critical to creating deep, edgy, powerful characters. This is why, to me, people like Margot are disinteresting on screen - beautiful, but ultimately boring! I would prefer to hire a slightly less attractive actor who has been through personal hardship, has at times been poor, desperate and out of work, but during this time has developed the character which is critical to squeeze the most out of roles.

I don't why people like you think people like MR are any less talented just because they are good looking. AND if you don't think MR isn't attractive AND isn't talented, you are disqualified to post comments or this site.
Are you sure you are replying to the correct post? If you read what I wrote, I said I have certainly seen evidence in real life of individuals I have met, who are beautiful/handsome, and have always had things their own way, and have never had to come up against adversity because of their looks. This also means that they consequently don't have a well-rounded personality.
I also said, in response to the OP, that I wasn't sure about the on-screen thing, meaning that I don't think this is necessarily true in the case of actors.
Where did I even
mention
MR's looks or talent, much less disparage them? I think she is both attractive and talented.
Did your parents have any children that lived beyond childbirth?
I have no idea what this means, but I assume it's meant as some so5b4rt of insult. If you have the capacity to use language in an eloquent manner, perhaps you would explain it to me.

@The_Ashes_of_Eden:
Your brain fart is psychology 101 at its most shallow and superficial. Margot is actually quite a good actress. She stole the show from everybody in 'Wolf of Wall Street' and she turned in a solid, believable performance in 'Z for Zachariah.' As if being ugly makes you somehow smarter/more creative/talented/experienced/etc.
Just because one's personal life can be sometimes easier/harder because of one's physical appearance, doesn't mean one cannot OBSERVE people and life and thereby learn just as much (if not more) than somebody who continually experiences it himself.
You're simply projecting your own insecurities/insufficiencies on her, and assuming that your own observations apply universally as a rule. But this has nothing to do with her performances, but more to do with you, who likely isn't much to look at, and just looks at her in amazement and are so distracted by her appearance, that you can't focus on her acting.
Charlize Theron is beautiful, and she's a great, Oscar winning actress. So is Catherine Zeta Jones. I am confident Margot will win her Oscar soon enough as well.
There are plenty of good looking men and women who are excellent actors. Matthew Mcconaughey and Jared Leto both recently won Academy Awards for their great performances in 'Dallas Buyers Club.' I was astonished at Matthew's performance, not to mention Jared's. They fully deserved their Awards.
Leo DiCaprio is also considered a brilliant actor. So is Johnny Depp.
In fact, I am bored with this now. You clearly just dribbled a bit of nonsense, because you didn't bother thinking through your brain fart and realizing yourself that it wasn't worth dumping into the internet.
Next time, think before you release your stinky tu_rd.
