if it's just about Davis's appearance there, in the episode guide here, it's said there's a clown that almost kidnap a boy. He's the boy. Said clown tried to get him but someone helped and he got away and that's it for him.
The clown went for another boy and doesn't have anything to do with Davis anymore.
