With the Aaliyah movie on the horizon and other projects she is set to star in, she clearly has an impressive start on her acting resume. Yes she has other credits to her name but nothing has catapulted her with this muh attention. I think I can see big things happening for this young lady in the near future if she and her agents play their cards right and choose the right roles.
I already survived you once, you smug Son of a Bitch. Question
Will you survive me?

I always thought she seemed dense and talentless but there's plenty of those types in Hollywood so I was going to leave her alone. But, ever since I heard that she may have homewrecked James Mcavoy's marriage to that lovely woman Ann Marie.this bitch is dust to me. I don't want to see her win.

Shoving her down our throats like Zoe Saldana. I'm ok with it though, she's pretty enough to make it.

Oh gosh, why can't Hollywood cast women of color with some TALENT?

And now she has been cast as the new "Storm". Yikes I should have kept my thoughts to myself. They really are trying to make her "happen" after all.
Accept what is, let go of what was, have faith in what will be

HB? How can you say that when nothing has been finalized as of yet? Atleast give her the chance and she has other projects as well. I really think this Aaliyah project will definitely make her a household name.
Edit: I just watched her ET interview for the movie and my take on her has changed drastically. The way Alexandra Shipp talked about potraying "Aaliyah" made me cringe. She spoke as if she and Aaliyah were old pals or she knew first hand what kind of person Aaliyah was. She also ticked me off with that "Aaliyah dont play" comment and the fact that Aalyah had to have loved Kels. But nothing was more laughable than when she said "dont worry boo, I deliver" in regards to being ask was she worried about the role portrayal. I understand confidence but she sound like an ignorant uninformed person. I still wish her luck in her future endeavors, but boo if or when your career does take off, I hope you look back at potraying the role of a deceased artist in a film whom no one supported. Good Luck though!

Flopping as Aaliyah in a low budget lifetime movie surrounded by controversy is not gonna be some big OH on her resume. She's pissed off a lot of people.
