That is so weird because that is what I thought the first time I saw her on GOT. I did see her in some other things but did not recognize her right away. Sure, she is tall, but she is younger than me and I was always one of the tall girls at school. When she is not in her Brienne persona, she is really quite pretty. She also has an athletic build which is a far cry from the damsel in distress type. I love a woman who can break the mold and beat the odds. I don't think she is ugly at all.
I think she had to be in great shape for that part and if I got a part like that, I would keep it up too because I hope this is just the beginning for her. I would love to meet her and exc1c84hange tall girl stories with her and I was 5'9"

I was curious to see if people found her good looking.
From the stills I've seen of her, especially her headshot, I don't find her attractive at all. Not ugly, but just rather on the homely side, especially with the parched hair.
Not to say that doesn't mean she's not an incredible actress. In fact when I first saw her, I thought "she must be a great actress to be young and successful without being attractive." Funny how tastes are; apparently there are a fair number of people who find her visually appealing.
