When I discovered Sami in "Blue Bloods" I thought that this young girl had a special beauty. She's not "Hollywood pretty" at all (and some people say that she's ugly, it's not true)and it's good for her. She has a special type and a great personality. I don't like her hair though, but maybe it's part of her character. She looks very smart in her role as Nikky as well as in real life (from what I read) and I think that this young actress will go far. I like her, because she's not stereotyped and seems to do whatever she likes. I'm pretty sure that she's like her character in "Blue Bloods" healthy, clever and strong. She's a very nice girl and I wish her the best. She's the ideal daughter for Erin and granddaughter for Frank. I hope that she will stay like she is in the series; I wish that she will not be hurt by her father's comeback. BTW we don't know if he will stay in NYC and be close to his daughter. The father16d0's character is not very likable so far, as he let the "two finest women in NYC" (dixit Frank) down.

Watched "Detachment" last night and was amazed how this young actor owns the screen. A very interesting and winning kind of vulnerable independence, I think. Anywho, not sure what it is, but she's got it. We need to see more of her.

I agree I Sami is a great little actress and ive seen interviews of her on Youtube and she is so adorable and wise for her age. I mean she is only 16 but if you see her in interviews, she is mature and intelligent young woman. Can't wait to see more of her work.
The typical hollywood pretty & personality IMO is boring and overated. When I see a girl like Sami, it 's not just her unique beauty but also something geunine about her as a person.
