I don't think so. She's too "white" looking.
Not that Emilia isn't, but with blond hair, her and Harry Lloyd look ethnically different than the rest of the pale cast. Slightly tan skinned (like she had in s1/2) light eyes, and blond hair suits Emilia and her strong features well.
I don't know much about the Targaryens or the novels, but I think it's nice that the two look different than the rest. They should be unique looking.
Abbey would honestly look like every other prostitute in Game of Thrones.
Remember the scene in S5 where Jorah visits a brothel and there are men who would actually pay to sleep with someone dressed as her. Jorah knows that no one can hold a flame to real Dany. Also her look in Westeros is considered one of a kind. What weight would that scene of had if it were Abbey? Put any blond model next to her and they would look too similar.
The fact is that no should be able to look similar to the Queen of Dragons, even if they WERE sporting a blond wig. That's why I feel Emilia is perfect. Not a lot of women look identical to like her.

Nothing is or would be great on Defiance. That show is pure unadulterated feces. I have to question the rationale of anyone who thinks otherwise.

,I never said not hinted that she could act better than Emilia Clarke . As a reader of the A.S.O.I.A.F ( Game of Thrones) series, Abbey lee fits the look of Daenerys that I had in my mind more than Clarke did/does.It is still a great great show though .
Also Abbey would be a great Castithan on the great Sci-Fi show Defiance .

Totally agree! Abbey would have been a good fit for that role and wouldn't need a wig. Also, in term of looks there simply is no comparison, Abbey is on a totally different level.
