pretty much with every scene, she gives me ideas of what her next project should be. I never had that with any actor, she's just so amazing. Like when she answered the phone call from Cybil, I thought, "if they ever decide to do to Miss Marple what Moffat did to Sherlock Holmes, they should get her"
I also thought, with all that talk about female Doctor Who.., I don't know, she could totally do it

Absolutely my favourite character bar the nasty valet (also wonderful) and Miss O'Brien (superbly funny and extraordinarily nasty). She has ten times the talent of that boring sprog with the huge mouth of Sir Peter Hall - Rebecca Hall. He heckled Ms Carmichael apparently on her first night in Uncle Vanya. What a creep.
