He has said countless times that he and his team go to extensive measures to minimize and/or eradicate information that may bring harm to the lives of people. All this talk of files such as the Afghan Logs bringing potential harm Soldiers is true to the extent that the US media and Government are talking about THEIR logs, NOT Wikileaks's (harm minimized) versions.
The fact that Wikileaks is so 'successful' if you want to use that word, is proof that the Governments of the world are NOT transparent enough in their actions and dealings that have been exposed by the leaks.

i like what he's doing but it is agenda that i don't liehe is doing this because he wants destroy the American governmenti'm all for transparencybut we wouldn't need this much transparency if the government was smaller and intelligence wasn't so massive. there are simpler ways to do things.
as far as the US and the war goes, I do have some questions. if any soldiers die because of what he is doing, he has blood on his hands. i'm all for whatever he does with Wall Street institutions.
however, i am somewhat torn by this whole wikileaks thing. the people leaking info to him should be prosecuted, but whether or not i like him and what he's doing, really depends on his agenda.

Julian Assange has done the world a great service by making available facts and information on United States policy. This free-thinker and progressive individual deserves our praise and support and he should be rewarded for his efforts.
Secrets between friends is not good. They can create mistrust and fear. The same is true with nations. In order for there to be good relationships based on mutual trust and respect, there must be honesty.
