So true. I've seen the film and Holland is a standout in it. The scene where Tony recruits him is golden, there's a moment when Tony asks him about his superhero name and Peter says "Spider . Man" just with the perfect level of embarrassment.

He might be fine but the movie won't be, they'll try to cover up the script's flaws with CGI and Marvel's usual lame jokes in their superhero movies.

The difference though is that Tom Holland actually does seem like an Ideal choice for Spider-man and there really have not been too many complaints about him unlike Ledger who was a very different choice for Joker and many questioned whether or not he would be good
