100% agreed. I'm from Canada, so the first I heard of her was from "Fancy" and "Boom Clap". I'm a big Marina and the Diamonds fan, so I heard she was similar and started listening. I got hooked on "What I Like", but only really started listening to her good stuff in March. Her "Heartbreaks and Earthquakes" and "Super Ultra" mixtapes were mind-blowing. She might not be the world's best singer, but is she ever creative. Now I'm addicted to her music
I bought "Sucker" back in January and liked it, but only become a big fan of hers after hearing her old material (and "True Romance"). She's turned more mainstream, because now that's she made it she has to stay popular. I truly think she will go back to her older, more experimental, bass-fuelled music, but I still enjoy her music now.

Gotta disagree. I've been following her for even a lot of her early career. Like I was intoducing her to people younger than me and even some hip gay dudes and whatnot. Now she's gotten pretty big. She isn't groundbreaking, but she has a unique style and has fun lyrics and usually solid production. Ton of fun to listen to. She's one of the few forces of good in pop music.
I think it's a bit of a shame she gained most of her popularity by performing on other people's tracks. A ton of people probably got the wrong idea about her. Working with Iggy got her attention, but some of it was bad attention because yeah Iggy is a sleazy hob68.

I am watching David Letterman right now and I have never heard of her before. One thing for sure is that she can't sing.

I don't think she's the worst but she isn't the best for sure, as for English people, I don't find them to be particulary unattractive

Yeah but she's hardly the worst out there, and these days that means a lot considering how bad most music is. England doesn't produce that many hotties but she's a sexy little minx for sure!
