Something that is always brought up is how much of a huge idiot George Lazenby's manager was for telling him the James Bond franchise was gonna be dead soon and thus convincing Lazenby not to sign the contract for guaranteed movie roles. Some blogs even make it out that Lazenby later fired that manager when James Bond ultimately survived and actually became even more profitable and Lazenby's movie career never picked up steam as much as it had the potential to after leaving his 1 hit wonder as Bond.
We all know this in hindsight but at the time what was the reasoning for this? If you see it from the lenses of someone living in the late 60s without foreknowledge, did Lazenby's manager advice make sense? Or was he just a colossal ****ing imbecile?

Although Lazenby had been offered a contract for seven movies, his agent, Ronan O'Rahilly, convinced him that the secret agent would be archaic in the liberated 1970s, and as a result he left the series after the release of On Her Majesty's Secret Service in 1969.
He was kind of right. The secret agent did become less popular in the 70s. Maybe not for the reason he gave. Unfortunately for him Bond remained popular.

I've actually only seen three Bond movies. From the ones I saw, I enjoyed From Russia With Love the best. Which Connery film is your favorite?
