Yep, it went from Bond kicking Alec from the ladder straight to the final seconds before Bond goes out on the ladder. It was an extremely jarring cut and another reason why movies on cable are trash.

I distinctly remember many of GoldenEye's action scenes being severely cut on one of its cable broadcasts (not sure if it was Esquire of not). The final fight with Trevelyan and the escape from the archives were almost cut entirely.
