That's probably all down to how the activists present and organise themselves, all from the same hymn sheet which is predictable. Every ten of fifteen years socialist movements culminate into a crescendo of potential prior to a crash when the right players get bought off and given positions of trust within the system.
We're about due one in the net two years - what it will be is anyways game just now but it's likely a backlash in some regards and an opening into a different revolt in others.
Be fun next time around when everyone will have recorded archives of what was said between now and then and the net set of buy-outs happen. Perhaps people will get clued into the fact that all socialist movements are fronts for self gain and the collective is just there to run cover for any attacks.

This happens to all communities who define themselves by what they're opposed to, rather than what they're for. The Men's Rights Movement of the mid-2010s up to today was an outgrowth of The Skeptic/Anti-SJW community, and they similarly defined themselves as Anti-Feminist, while devoting very little energy towards going on the ground, to help men who are in need to help themselves in some material way. Not surprisingly, The MRM sputtered out a few minutes after it rose prominence, and they became just as resistant to internal criticism as The Woke Left is

I didn't know she blocked people, I thought she was more likely to be blocked but I only know about her from people like Isaac Butterfield and the like who talked about her talking about the troubles of lonely young men in modern times.
