"A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge"
I actually prefer it to the 3rd movie which many consider to be the best sequel.
Just because I'm not on THEIR side, doesn't mean I'm on YOURS.

Jaws 2, which is a very good movie on its own, suffers more when compared to the masterpiece Jaws.
Psycho II, a surprisingly well made sequel to Psycho.
Superman Returns, which I look at as a sequel to Donner's Superman, I think a terrific film with some pacing issues but certainly better than the Snyder films
Friday the 13th Part II, not a fan of these movies but I thought this movie was the best of them, without the hockey mask wearing invincible Jason who seemed to be everywhere
A Very Brady Sequel, a film that works without having seen any of the tv series, it is even funnier than the first film
