Need help finding the title of some weird British, VERY black comedy shorts from the 60 or 70s. I've had no success searching for keywords on here, they might have been episodes of a series though i remember them being shown as separate short films in the 90s, so.. what i remember is them being typical British style (a la "The Plank", "Dinner for One" etc.) with laugh tracks, dreary middle class small town setting, etc, and they just became progressively more morbid and absurd.
I think more than one of them involved a funeral, and one even had a corpse falling out of a casket (might have confused that with some other movie, but i'm pretty sure it was) while another one had several old people suddenly dying and falling down limp, to excited studio laughter of course. I remember just being totally ticked off at the darkness of it, even though i usually like that kind of humour, those were just taking it one step to far and it was just gross and disrespectful rather than funny. It was like they were only trying to be as shocking as possible within the limits of the time anyway, does anyone have any idea what i'm talking about?
