A very short lived spinoff from the movies WESTWORLD and FUTUREWORLD which lasted only 5 episodes. I vaguely recall seeing it on tv when it first aired. If you like catching up with obscure tv shows you will be happy to know that it has been released on dvd -

And Manimal and Logan's Run (tv series) were released on DVD, 70's Invisible Man was released on DVD and Blu-ray. Still great tv shows like Fantastic Journey, Otherworld are not released on DVD and may never will - along with Gemini Man and the Phoenix. the Man From Atlantis does have a complete series dvd release.

Yes, I was surprised it was released myself. I have a copy in my dvd collection. Another short lived tv show I have from the 80's is MANIMAL. And from the 1970's THE INVISIBLE MAN and LOGAN'S RUN.

TNT network aired the Beyond Westworld movie pilot in the late 90s. I had a VHS of fuzzy episodes with horrible audio and video drop outs. Now I have the pre-recorded DVD release of the show - never in my wildest dreams would I have thought a short lived obscure tv series like BW would be on DVD.
