it may have been a TV reality show, and it wasn't on tv very long, but in one episode, a guy who owned a bowling alley couldn't figure out why, when he came in each morning, things were a mess, as if someone had broken in. Only the place was locked up tight, with no signs of break in, and his employees assured him they were cleaning, and doing everything correctly each night before they left. The man contacted this detective (the main guy of the show) who installed hidden cameras, and it turned out his own daughter was hosting 'gentlemen parties' at the bowling alley at night: she had a key. I only saw it once, but it was hilarious! Am hoping to see it again (and other episodes), if I only knew the title! arggg. Thank you all in advance for your suggestions! = D

Thanks, Canadaactually this show wasn't about food at all. It was a reality show about a guy who was a private eye, who got paid to check things out for people, get the "dirt", etc., although I very much appreciate your response.
: )

That sounds like an episode of
MYSTERY DINERS
(it airs on The Food Network here in Canada).
Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought an idiot - than to open it and remove all doubt!
