Two series that debuted in 1950, "The Trouble with Father" and "Beulah", have already been mentioned. Both were single-camera sitcoms without laugh-tracks nor studio audience (though "Trouble with Father" began using a laugh track during its fourth season).
"The Goldbergs", a 1949-1956 series that has no relation to the current show, was a multi-camera show with neither laugh-track nor studio audience (it aired live, typical of early sitcoms, hence multi-cameras were used. The final season was filmed and shot single-camera, I think)

Malcolm In the Middle (2000) and Scrubs (2001) come to mind so Malcolm In The Middle wins from the 2.
Someone mentioned The Wonder Years (1988) which is even earlier although is that classified as a sitcom?
How about
Sledge Hammer! (1986)
? That was a comedy although not sure again whether that's a sitcom.

Also debuted 1950 was "The Beulah Show". A single-camera, no-laugh-track sitcom starring a Black woman.admittedly she was a cliche domestic/maid, but still, ahead of its time in some ways.
"The Goldbergs" (great show) and "Mama" debuted 1949, but mixed comedy with drama, so maybe they don't count.

The Bible? Why would you say that?
Anyways to the previous post you guys mention some good ones The Simpsons, Malcolm & The Middle, and Scrubs. I forgot Malcolm & The Middle didn't have a laugh track I thought it did. Sometimes you can hear a laugh track with scrubs unless I'm hearing things.
That is funny in the 00's shows just got rid of laugh tracks, that is what made TV shows.

"Please Don't Eat the Daisies," a wonderful family sitcom from the mid-'60s,
didn't have a laugh track.

Scrubs was the first that came to my mind.
But then some eps of MASH didn't have a laugh-trackbut that wasn't the whole series.

Honestly, I can't watch those conventional, shot-in-front-of-a-live-studio-audience sitcoms anymore. Not only do they feel old hat, they also still possess some of the laziest comedic writing around.

There was a short lived sitcom in the mid 70s called "United States" with Beau Bridges and Helen Shaver, which had no laugh track.

indeed it was "
Malcolm
" the first sitcom without a laugh track, at least from the decade. And it was
Scrubs
that covered most part of the 00's. But I think it's safe to say they are ground-breaking, they changed american comedies forever, now people can't even stand the laugh track.
Well, now I know what shows deserve the blame for ruining my idea of good TV. I love hearing the audience laughterit doesn't even feel like a sitcom without it!
Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

Gotta give it to Malcolm in the Middle there. Although I'm a huge Scrubs fan, indeed it was "Malcolm" the first sitcom without a laugh track, at least from the decade. And it was Scrubs that covered most part of the 00's. But I think it's safe to say they are ground-breaking, they changed american comedies forever, now people can't even stand the laugh track.
