Goodness everybody I talk to doesn't seem to like season 5. I think it was a masterpiece. After the emotional denouement of Trinity and season 4 of course there had to be some down time and some reflection. Season 5 did this to a tee. The barrel girl murder gang was dam creepy and I just loved luman.

Like it a lot. The villains were truly despicable and some nice foreshadowing of Season 7.

I liked Season 5 too, it was good. I also liked Season 6 barring the mess they turned Debra into. Season 7 was pretty good and I also liked the first two thirds of Season 8, approximately. Then I feel the writers became too lazy and the finale was atrociously bad.

Thanks for the response, yeah just a terrific season. Really the only season I didn't like so much was the 6th. Loved the 7th haven't seen the 8th.

It's nice to see someone appreciate that season. I was accepting of it, the only thing was what I found to be an odd scene when Dexter confronts Aster and Cody. I have a friend who liked it too
