for me it was as good as Hill Street Blues, the first US cop show I had ever seen in UK that actually showed the real America.not the glamourous Caifornia we normally got to see.

I absolutly adored THE SHIELD. My opinion is that this show was one of the best in tv history. It's something I discovered by accident one night channel surfing, but after watching for a few minutes, I was absolutly engrossed in the show. The writing, acting, direction and the characters were all briliant, nd it's one of my favourite shows ever.

A very good show. Michael Chiklis and Walton Goggins were particularly good, but the entire cast did a great job.
There are quite a few shows I prefer, but it's definitely in my top 50 all-time tv favorites.
