I watched an episode of a tv show a while back (probably two or three years ago) and I can't for the life remember what it was. I remember it being a police procedural with a focus on forensics/autopsy. I had thought it was Silent Witness, but i've recently rewatched all the seasons without finding it. I'm pretty sure it was British but it could have been a European/Scandinavian show.
The exact plot is a little hazy, but i think it was something like this:
A young (teenaged) couple are killed, or maybe it was just the young guy that was killed. I think he was attempting to shoot someone and maybe the police killed him? Or he may have been trying to run away with the girl and died somehow. The girl comes from a Muslim family and they're reluctant to help, but i think somehow its revealed that the young girl has been molested/raped repeatedly. There's huge outrage at the suggestion (blight on the family honour and all that), but there was some sort of secret the family were trying to hide.
I didn't get to see the ending (it was a show that does the part 1/part 2 type story lines) and it's been bugging me for years. As i said it wasn't in Silent Witness, maybe Waking the Dead, but i did look at the plot synopsis and i couldn't find anything there.
Can anyone help?

What about Crossing Lines which is about cross boarder agencies in Europe or Wire in the Blood starring Robson Green?

That plot doesn't ring a bell, but DaVinci's Inquest, a Canadian TV show, was based on a coroner.
