<p dir="auto">I was pre-school age and at home. A soap had a trial, a little girl was put on the stand and a man asked, "did this woman kill your mother?"<br />
The little girl slowly stood and said, "yes. Yes, . . . she did it! She did it!" and pointed to another woman in the audience.<br />
I think the woman told what she did to commit the crime, but I have never forgotten this. I was probably 4 or 5 years old. That would have been '70 or '71. Surely it wasn't earlier.<br />
I do recall a scene I think was on Guiding light where a fire was started in a garage while a guy was working on a car and someone locked him in there. Wonder if that was a child as well?</p>
