Fade in:<br />
EXT. FUTURE CITY - DAY<br />
The year is 2050 and the city is bustling with flying cars, robots and advanced technology. Camera pans to a small apartment building where the protagonist, Tom, sits alone in his apartment, scrolling through a menu of futuristic dishes on his tablet for Thanksgiving dinner. He looks uninterested as he orders a synthetic turkey.<br />
CUT TO:<br />
INT. SYNTHETIC TURKEY FACTORY - DAY<br />
Cameras show us the process of a synthetic turkey being made using futuristic technology. The turkeys are made from advanced robotics, and they look and smell like the real thing.<br />
CUT TO:<br />
INT. TOM'S APARTMENT - NIGHT<br />
Tom is alone in his apartment, sitting at a table with his synthetic turkey in front of him. He looks bored and unenthusiastic about the meal.<br />
Suddenly, the power goes out, and Tom's apartment is thrown into darkness. As he fumbles to find his way to the door, he hears a thud on his balcony.<br />
CUT TO:<br />
EXT. TOM'S BALCONY - NIGHT<br />
Tom finds a turkey lying on his balcony, wounded and trembling in fear. He recognizes that it's a real turkey, and not the synthetic one he ordered. The turkey is different from any turkey he has ever seen. It's a futuristic turkey with advanced abilities.<br />
CUT TO:<br />
INT. TOM'S APARTMENT - NIGHT<br />
Tom decides to take care of the turkey and nurse it back to health. As the night goes on, he realizes that the turkey has some special abilities. It can communicate with him through a telepathic link.<br />
Tom learns that the turkey is from the future, sent back in time to avoid a catastrophic event that leads to the extinction of turkeys. The turkey tells him that it's the last of its kind, and it needs to go back to its own time to prevent the extinction.<br />
CUT TO:<br />
EXT. FUTURE CITY - DAY<br />
Tom and the turkey arrive in the future city, and they quickly realize that the environment is not suitable for the turkey to live in. Tom suggests they go back in time to prevent the catastrophe from ever happening.<br />
CUT TO:<br />
EXT. PASTURE - DAY<br />
Tom and the turkey arrive in a pasture, where they meet a group of farmers who are about to kill all the turkeys. Tom and the turkey convince the farmers to stop and save the turkeys.<br />
CUT TO:<br />
EXT. FUTURE CITY - DAY<br />
The turkey starts to reproduce, and its offspring bring a new era of turkeys to the future city. Tom is greeted as a hero, and people start to value the turkey and its meat.<br />
CUT TO:<br />
INT. TOM'S APARTMENT - NIGHT<br />
Tom sits at his table, surrounded by his friends and family, and a real Thanksgiving turkey on the table. He's happy and satisfied, knowing that he saved the turkey from extinction.<br />
FADE OUT<br />

<p dir="auto">A good twist would have been if years later, a colony of smart turkeys that sprang from the events in this story turn the table on humanity and overthrow them, and then start eating people for their holidays.<br />
