<p dir="auto">They're not going to strike just yet, the vote was to authorize their union leaders to call for a strike and then they will strike. Right now this gives them a stronger position that might bring the other side back to the table because the union looks unified (99% voted for the strike) and ready to quit working. My own completely ignorant prediction is that some deal will be reached before anybody strikes. The streaming companies are desperate for content to attract new subscribers whose growth has been slowing and which the stock market hates.</p>
