The Ten Commandments still holds up after 70 years. Incredible effects for the time and great storytelling. CBD was one of the best directors, but had very little THC. No one really knows their favorite biopic, but this is certainly in my "top ten".

I know, right? It's definitely one of my all-time favourites to be sure. DiCaprio was perfectly cast, and I completely bought into his evolving portrayals as they unfolded.

How about
Catch Me if You Can
? I know that they took great theatrical liberties, but I thoroughly enjoyed DiCaprio's performance in this.
Ray

Fantastic cast, terrific acting, and while I don't know enough about Ray Charles to know how accurate this is, I enjoyed the film.
The Doors

Extensive liberties were taken, and they only portrayed Jim Morrison's darker side, depicting him almost exclusively as a belligerent, perpetually drunk man determined to be a rock star instead of giving adequate attention to Morrison's truest passion, which was to be a poet. There's also a lot of conflicting information regarding his marriage to Patricia Kennealy-Morrison (which she maintained was a legal "marriage" given the handfasting ceremony that they had, and I corresponded with her - as anyone could - via her website back around 2013. She was quite the intellect).
The Aviator

Again, having read a great deal about Howard Hughes, including having seen and read his own handwritten letters, I know that there was a lot of material left out and as usual, there are theatrical liberties, but they did a good job of paring down the man and demonstrating Hughs' eccentricities, proclivities and skills.
What's Love Got to Do with It

I think, but cannot be certain, that this was still a rather sanitized version of the real events, but the acting and above all, the casting, was so top-notch. This movie is absolutely spectacular in portraying the volatile relationship, history and evolution of Ike and Tina Turner.
Patton

Another movie that I thoroughly enjoyed, but having read many books on Patton and having read so much about him, his personal life, his career and his driving forces as to why he did what he did and why he was so efficient, I realize this is a very sanitized version of Patton's life and there is some misrepresentation, some things that are only briefly touched upon, and a lot of dramatization, the movie ended at such a critical point. I wish that they delved more into Patton's personal life and his astonishing attention to detail.
J. Edgar

Another wonderful performance by Leonardo DiCaprio. I have read 3 books on J. Edgar Hoover and the founding of the FBI, and while, as usual, there are creative liberties, I appreciated how they chose to go about representing what they did. I absolutely loved this movie.
