I like to say I like Rocky Horror, but I'd never choose to put it on - if a friend puts it on then I do enjoy it.
I enjoyed Sweeny Todd, Mamma Mia and Hairspray as a teenager but have seen them all over the past couple of years and I don't like them as much as I did.

I think my exception to the rule, and really, my friends have tried many with me, is
Rocky Horror Picture Show
but even that irritated me half the time. I liked only one part of
Sweeney Todd
and that's because I was not expecting Sacha Baron Cohen's falsetto. I just die at every musical. I hate them.
I do like movies about music or bands, though. Like
This Is Spinal Tap
. That was genius.

I like live musicals, but I'm the same. I love the odd one like Greatest Showman, but generally it takes me out of the movie if they break out into a choreographed song and dance.

Perfect. I love movies about music or musicians, and in those, the songs don't drive the narrative. I despise musicals. DESPISE. Like throwing holy water on a demon. I would foam at the mouth if anyone forced me to watch a musical.

No, it has about 5 musical numbers but that's because she's performing on stage but it's not a full blown musical.
