I am not going to talk about all the biopics I have watched, but a really good one last year. "M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story", it showcases life of India's most successful cricket team caption Dhoni.
What I love about the movie is its screenplay, it makes you feel connected all the time.

I agree it is probably one of the best silent movies ever. May be only F. W. Murnau's stuff, Fritz Lang's epics and Battleship Potemkin can be compared to it.

A great list! I've seen all of these, and they are all excellent! The Passion of Joan of Arc is quite possibly the finest silent film ever made imho.

The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928) by Carl Theodor Dreyer is one of the best silent movies ever made. Along with Ordet and Day of Wrath (1943), The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928) is among the best religious themed movie ever made.
You could also watch Joan of Arc (1948)for which Ingrid Bergman won an Oscar but it is not as good as The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928)

You really should check out The Passion. It's the best. and most moving silent film ever made, imho. The soundtrack is also excellent. I have the CD.

Haven't seen
The Passion of Joan of Arc
but have heard great things about it. It's a silent, too, which is a genre I actually still like.
Another religious-themed biopic film you might want to watch is
The Nun's Story
(1959), with Audrey Hepburn. It's based on the story of a real-life nun (Marie-Louise Habets). Very well-done picture.

I admit to not seeing many biopics. Probably I should take recommendations and watch a few. Of those that I have seen I have liked the following:

1. Lawrence of Arabia (1962) [Remarkable movie and a must watch for anyone]
2. Braveheart (1995) [The movie is not based on real history but is still a great movie]
3. Patton (1970) [George C Scott was phenomenal]
4. The Elephant Man (1980) (makes you sad but is a quality thing)
5. The Passion of Joan of Arc
