I'm looking for some good crime films featuring Asian gangs in American cities. I'd prefer more "street-level" type films, but films featuring the Triads or Yakuza are welcome recommendations as long as they are set in America. An example of the kind of film I'm looking for would be Michael Cimino's The Year of the Dragon. It's a nice mix of cop film, street-level grit, and organized crime. Thanks for your recommendations!

I haven't seen it so I can't tell you if it's any good but "Revenge of the Green Dragons" seems to fit your criteria perfectly.

Your question makes me think of Gran Torino, Rumble in the Bronx and Brother. A movie called Election made in 2005 is an excellent movie but its set in Hong Kong not the United States of America.
