I've seen it. For your sake, I truly wish I could say it made an impression on me but it didn't strike me at all as unusual or extraordinary.
Perhaps it would do so if I watched it all these years later now that I'm an adult. I'm ready to believe there's something in it I missed the first time around, if you are this enthused about it.
On the other hand I almost always loathe movies featuring little kids in trouble. Like, orphan kids annoy the heck outta me.
I agree that Gena is quite good actress (still alive? I dunno). But she's not a star I've personally ever thought all that much about.
