One of my favorite episodes and a nice 90's African American take on a former all white comic story from Vault of Horror and Moses Gunn does a great job as the bastard cheapskate abusive uncle who cuts corners and always abuses his nephew.
Don Mancini of the Chucky film franchise fame wrote his first all African American horror story and directed by Jack Sholder who did Elm Street 2/The Hidden/Alone in The Dark 1982 and a suspenseful well made episode that is like that "Something to Tide you Over" story from Creepshow in a way.
With it being an all black horror story and urban atmosphere, you think it was a Tales from the Hood story than a crypt one.
"Unicorn, mermaid, vampire, sorceress! No name you'd give her would surprise me i love whom i love"
