I'm not gonna say I watched some movies last week, but let's just say I watched some movies.
After Death (Oltre la morte) (1989)

2/1O
The Forgotten One (1989)

6 or maybe 7/1O for the hot sex
The Hateful Eight (2015)

6/1O, terrible dialogue, pointless story but beautifully composed with an amazing score worked into it. I will watch it again. It should have been a silent movie (I mean, no dialogue).
Dead Calm (1989)

6 or 7/1O. I'm glad I watched it without my girl-spouse. She'd have been all gay for Billy Zane's hotness, only heterosexually.
toile (1989)

1O/1O
, son of a bitch. Also, better than
Black Swan
. Other IMDb reviewers complain it is too slow.
Celia (1989)

7 or 8/1O, disturbing. Didn't know what to expect from it and got the unexpected.
How to Be Single (2016)

1/1O. Its only value is to historically preserve the idea of what a crap movie could possibly be at the time of its making.
Woman of the Year (1942)

5/1O or more, or less. Just a movie.

Hi Scott,
Based upon your reaction to Ghost Dog I would say that you have the makings of a Jarmusch fan - and the good news is that his films are remarkably consistent. I like them all and love many of them.
The Bees is actually the film that solidified my admiration for John Saxon. Any actor who can believably deliver some of the dialogue he does here is absolutely awesome. This film is so ridiculous it leaves me feeling giddy afterwards. Love it.
My own week was a lot more subdued although I did see a handful of great and near great flicks:
13)
The Golden Voyage of Sinbad
(1973)
Gordon Hessler
/
5th V. 12/18
/
Rating: 10.0
14)
Gremlins 2
(1990)
Joe Dante
6
/
5th V. 12/19
/
Rating: 8.0
15)
Forbidden Games
(1952)
René Clément
/
FTV 12/22
/
Rating: 8.0
16)
Café Society
(2016)
Woody Allen
4
/
FTV 12/23
/
Rating: 7.0
And I finished the Phoenix storyline in Dark Shadows. Only 15 or so more episodes until Barnabus Collins puts in his first appearance.
This place is the Horror Board. We are supposed to have anarchy here.

Forbiden World (1982)
8.5/10

A little fun '80s underrated horror/scifi movie. The opening scene is just amazing, and the editing is pretty good.
The Evil Dead (1981) (rewatch)
10/10
Evil Dead II (1987) (rewatch)
10/10
Army of Darknes AKA Evil Dead 3 (1992) (rewatch)
8/10
Evil Dead (2013)
8.5/10
(rewatch) - I think it's great, but forgotten horror movie. But anyway, I like how it is too serious horror, dark and it's bloody awesome! The special effects/makeup were freaking awesome, and has absolutely no CGI (if I am right). I think it's the best job they ever did for horror movies since 2000. Very well-done! I thought the actors were all good, and the movie had better cast than Army of Darkness. I think they did very good jobs when they played possessed characters. Of course, it can't be better than the original or Evil Dead II, but I liked it better than Army of Darkness. I originally rated it a 10/10 on first viewing, but after re-watching I gave it a 8.5/10. It's still brutal movie, but it's not the movie that I would watch over and over.
Non-horror movies:
Office Chrisrmas Party (2016)
7/10
The Night Before (2015)
9/10
Final Cut: Hölgyeim és uraim (2012)
10/10

Different actors and movies, the same story. This is a masterpiece, and one of the greatest works of art! I'm surprised it has only 1,500 votes on IMDb, more movie fans should to watch it.

Wait, which Honeymoon are you talking about? I'm pretty sure there are two films with this title on Netflix, but the one I've seen is from 2014 and is American, and I can't find the other one now (I guess it was actually called Honey Moon).

The Legend of Six Fingers (2013) 3/10
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) 8/10 - more appealing than The Force Awakens but a welcomed addition to the SW saga
Alien Hunger (2014) 3/10
Beautiful People (2014) 5/10
Yanggaw (2008) 8/10 - highly recommended to fans of foreign horror cinema.
Queen of Spades: The Dark Rite (2015) 4/10
Ludo (2015) 6/10 - worth a look for fans of foreign horror cinema. Available on Netflix
She Kills (2016) 6/10 - crazy homage to grindhouse revenge flicks and funny as hell
Headless (2015) 7/10 - gory, bloody, disturbing - it's like a gorehounds trifecta!
Acid Bath (2006) 3/10
Honeymoon (2015) 6/10 - worth a look for fans of foreign horror cinema. Available on Netflix

Hey dude. Here are mine:
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016)
7/10
: I liked it more for the cast and the set/costume design than the story, which felt more like an introductory piece than something that works on its own right. Still, entertaining enough.
Trois couleurs: Blanc (1994)
8/10
: As awesome as the first of the trilogy. I still need to watch the last entry.
Runaway Jury (2003)
4/10
: Meh.
Insidious (2010)
(rewatch)
7/10
: I reminded it as a generic haunted house flick, but it's actually quite original in terms of mythology and stuff. The sequence in which Patrick's character, in the other side (whose name they gave I don't recall), watches the memory of a woman killing her husband and his lover (?) and then commiting suicide is very creepy.
Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013)
7/10
: Very good sequel.
Såsom i en spegel (1961)
9/10
: Awesome! Some of the best dialogues in any film I've seen, gorgeous-looking and with pitch-perfect acting from all the main cast.
La ragazza che sapeva troppo (1963)
8/10
: Nice film. Convoluted as hell, but still fairly funny and engaging and with impressive imagery. Also, the lead girl is gorgeous, and it's cool to see an young John Saxon.
Onibaba (1964)
8/10
: Deserving of its status of cult classic.
