the first season was incredible. after that, it dipped immensely but recovered a little with its fourth season. i hope the final season will be as good as season one. tall order and probably not gonna happen, but i'll keep watching.
if you are a fan of buffy, you should watch this show cause the acting is great and they know (especially in the first season) how to mix comedy with drama and suspense.

I really enjoyed the first season but it has steadily gone from solid to unwatchably ridiculous since. Tatiana Maslany is brilliant, I'll give her that, but the show has nothing else going for it any longer.

I love Orphan Black as well. The acting is phenomenal, the stories are thought-provoking and entertaining, and as you said it's funny and intense at the same time. Very well done.
