I thought about Wrong Cops as well. Also, the whole confused guests chased by the greasy monster (or whatever the Dad turned into) thing reminded me of Rubber.
Dupiex is at the very least an influence here, no doubt.

i thought this too, tho had also heard the comparison in a review before watching TGS. reminded me of Wrongs Cops a little, the soundtrack, characters, offbeat absurdity & general grotesqueness. if thats a word.
I think my expectations for this were too high so iwas a little dissapointed, but thumbs up for odd originality, some surrealism & of course wardrobe
