i liked wwZ. i know it got a lot of hate from the book nerds but on it's own it was a pretty good movie.

I guess I'd say WWZ was worse but they're both such godawful movies that one feels bad drawing too much of a distinction.

Don't bother, it's pretty awful. The DofD remake wins by default.
Now comparing DotD ORIGINAL with its remake would be a better poll.
I even rewatched WWZ to see if it really was bad or if I just wasn't in the mood.
It was really that bad.

I've never seen WWZ. Another big budget Hollywood zombie flick…meh. Romero cranked out his zombie masterpieces on shoestring budgets using mostly unknown actors in Pittsburgh. I made a deal with the ghost of George Romero to never watch any non-Romero zombie films again (with the exception of European zombie films from the 70s and early 80s) and so far I haven't regretted it.
The DOTD remake is watchable but lacks everything that made the original film so wonderful: interesting characters, good soundtrack music, atmosphere, scares, etc.
