Robocop starring Michael Keaton is the best film that I have seen for a long time, and beats the Peter Weller version for its technical effects. If you have not seen it, I recommend it.

i thought the reboot didn't have the charm of the original and the actors seemed off.
the man vs machine aspect wasn't in question anymore either. it's like we should accept the inevitable now and see how awesome it is to fuse with machines.
which is probably the one main reasons the reboot was given the green light anyway.
they need to retell these stories in a way that shines a favorable light onto what they are trying to usher in.
