What did you do while in NYC?
I was only there for three days. We stayed near Times Square. Did 42nd Street and the Empire State Bldg. and a trip to Madison, NJ. I was with a Navy buddy (who knew someone in Madison) and we were waiting for a flight to Europe.

The only time I was there was in August. I didn't mind the humidity because I came in from Texas.

So be extremely careful when visiting NYC during spring and summer. Watch your back at all times! Never talk to strangers either. Stranger danger is alive and well here in this concrete jungle called NYC.

Oh and noise! All that construction work. The drills, hammering, blocked of areas. The rats running around.

Anyway…
The rate of kidnappings and rapes increase two fold during the summer months in NYC. It gets worse every year.
It's scary when you're walking down the street in your neighborhood even in a relatively safe area and you see signs posted of a missing person or when you go to the booth inside the subway and see police photos of black men who are wanted for committing some level of a felony. They expose themselves to women or assault or rob someone.

We met online and I flew across the country to visit him. He had just finished medical school but was still struggling and up to his eyeballs in debt. I was going to take a two week vacation to Africa but I added on a few days in NYC just to see him. I would have moved to NY if he had asked. I liked him that much

He took me to a few gay bars and out to dinner. We watched a Broadway show. I stayed at the Sofitel in Times Square and he ****ed me in the shower. It was very romantic. Sigh…memories…

Yeah you're part of the problem because people like you set the mentality that love is everywhere in NYC. The tourist come with the idea to "hook-up" with somebody.
That just encourages all those lonely crazy people and rapists to seek out strangers to ****. They just staring at you or do things to get your attention. They follow you. I've seen it so many times and it has happened to me. People need to just use the clubs, parks during normal hours and bars to meet others and quit trying to make love connections in regular places like the supermarket, the laundromat, on public transportation, in stores, the library, museums and such.

I was there during summertime. It was humid but I had a lovely time. I met up with this dude in Chelsea and he took me around. I really liked him but it didn't work out.

Don't come during the summer or spring months. Winter is better. The crazies are mostly confined to the subway where it's warm. Therefore much safer for everyone.

The humidity in NYC during the summer is terrible. I haven't been there in ten years. You make me want to go back
