Finally got around to watching this one.
In this revenge thriller, Carey Mulligan plays a young woman haunted by the rape and suicide of her best friend. This sends her down a dark path exacting revenge on those who were complicit in her friend's rape. The film touches on a lot of modern topics: date rape, toxic masculinity, and even societal privilege and never fails to be compelling. Worth a watch if you like thrillers or want to see a twist on revenge and modern dating. Streaming on HBOMax.

I like a good revenge film as much as anyone else, but exacting revenge isn't exactly heroic.
