Like most greedy big businesses ,Sony ,Samsung and the other don;t want to profit in the long run with now.Because of this they don't to wan to serve 3D fans ,Just the mainstream only.Big business usually don't serve small consumers equally.they avoid things that are not popular. This is unethical. They did this by not including smaller screen with the 3d process too, that how bad they were ,but now they gotten worst. It's greed that killing 3d t.v. and the main streamers getting offended at those who enjoy it another thing wall street is getting offend at it cause it's slowing the greedy investors return down.Only a bit.It might be the trump regime that might be having the influence agaisnt serving the niche.3d minority fans have as much rights as flat film fans !the niches are legitimate consumer products. They just appeal to a large minority that's all.Niches should be supported too .The dollar in the long run is a legitimate as the dollar in the quick, out side marginalizing.

ColorCode is an abomination and should be shunned. It was used in the UK for C4's 3D season and it was horrible. It seemed designed to put people off 3D forever.

Sure , but it's also not putting the process on smaller cheaper t.v. Also not making glasses Pacific ,so tha any 3d glass would be compatible and you don't have to buy glasses.Still the industry is destroying it .the y.v and cable studios are not putting any show once in a while in 3D.So altogether now the entertainment industry is possibly being paid by wall street opposition to demote this .Unlike consumer like m ,most consumer are lazy and want others to decide whats best for them.3D ends, those consumers except it .They are casual,They are vulnerable to rip off ,defects and outrageous prices ,when that happen they don't know what happen,They don't learned ,Now they did say tha budget companies would take over,May be smaller sets But with all this 3D restorations.Possible the future 3D classic and new movies might be released on blu ray and DVD and steam.possibly in color code anaglyph ,with flat version ,Like they do with Cinerama travelogs, anaglyph is like smile box letter box. That may be the only by some companies to keep 3D classic in distribution.but it would be distributed for fans of 3d.The positive side? You would not have to have a 3D player or t.v.Bad side a little ghosting and if you are colorblind well forget abut it.So many 3D movies being restored and finding lost one,may be top banana .It would have to be release in color code for us large minority fans of 3D.

Lack of content is killing 3D TV. There is nothing available via terrestrial TV and anything else is either PPV or expensive Blu-rays.
